Victoria’s Secret angel Adriana Lima is pregnant with her first child. The stunning Brazilian’s representatives have confirmed to US website People.com that she and husband Marko Jaric are about to become proud parents of a baby.

She is due to give birth this winter, reports The Sun. The rep told People: “Adriana and Marko are overjoyed that they are expecting their first child together and are excited to share the happy news and start their family together.”

The couple eloped on Valentine’s Day this year, tying the knot in a small, private civil ceremony in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Lima and Jaric, who plays for the Memphis Grizzlies, met in 2006 and got engaged two years later on Lima’s 27th birthday.

All Blacks great Jonah Lomu last night described the birth of his first child as being “so good”.

But contrary to earlier media reports, Sunday News understands Jonah’s girlfriend Nadene Quirk gave birth to a 5.4kg boy last weekend in Wellington. The couple reportedly named the baby Braylee, a name typically given to girls. But a source told Sunday News Jonah has told several people his precious baby is a boy.

A Wellington Hospital spokeswoman confirmed Nadene, a property manager and company director, spent a day in hospital.Jonah, 33, was yesterday reluctant to speak about Braylee but as he walked from central Wellington’s Subway he sported a huge smile and said of his new joy: “It is all so good at the moment, bro.”

Asked about her baby, Nadene last night said she “was busy doing something at the moment and will need to call you back.”Earlier while Nadene was at home caring for her week-old child, Jonah was out but avoiding journalists.A Sunday News photographer snapped Jonah dashing off in his 2003 Audi A3, avoiding the media.

Jonah and Nadene could score a fortune for exclusive pics of baby Braylee. Experts say the first pictures of the sporting hero’s baby may spark a bidding war that will rake in megabucks.”I would have thought it’d be six figures,” celebrity agent Karen Kay told Sunday News last year.

“Jonah Lomu is a huge star in the UK for example, so the media over there would probably pay quite a bit.” But the proud parents must keep out of the limelight before the exclusive images are published or the deal could be compromised.Media interest in the couple and the baby has been high since the relationship was revealed last February.

The giant wing and then wife and manager Fiona had just admitted they were working through “issues in their relationship”, while Nadene was just 10 months into her marriage with then Blues rugby player Jarek Goebel when it became public.

The new couple immediately looked for a Wellington home while smitten Jonah lavished Nadene with gifts, including a Porsche Cayenne.Nadene is his fourth major partner. He married Tanya Rutter in 1996, got engaged to Teina Stace in 1998 and married Fiona Taylor in 2003.

As the world slowly re-steadies itself in the wake of the birth of the new Angelina Jolie/Brad Pitt twins, the question on everyone’s mind seems to be the same- where did they come up with those baby names?

33 year-old stunning actress Angelina Jolie finally gave birth on Saturday night at the Fondation Lenval hospital in Nice, France, to a boy and a girl. The boy was named Knox Leon and the girl was named Vivienne Marcheline.

Us magazine spoke to baby name expert Pamela Redmond Satran, who tried to shed some light on the unusual and original name choices. Said Satran to the mag, “Vivienne is the French version of the ancient Latin name that means ‘alive.” For anyone who is an Angelina Jolie fan (and those of us over at Actress Archives definitely fall into that category), it is commonly known that Marcheline was the name of Angelina Jolie’s late mother, who died earlier in the year. Angelina Jolie and her mother were extremely close, so it is in no way surprising that Angelina and Brad chose to honor her in this way- and in our humble opinion, it doesn’t hurt that it’s a beautiful name.

Knox’s name is also straight out of the Jolie/Pitt family history books. Knox was Brad Pitt’s grandfather’s middle name, and, while this may only be a coincidence, ends in an “X,” as do the names of both his older brothers, Maddox and Pax. Middle name Leon is Angelina Jolie’s great-great grandfather’s name.

And there you have it, the baby names explained. We’re definitely intrigued by the whole “names ending in X” theory. Perhaps eventually, this may serve as the only deterrent for Angelina and Brad to finally stop having more children- or at least sons. We’re hard pressed to think of all that many more names that end in X…

Actress Jessica Alba gave birth to her and her husband Cash Warren’s first child together, a beautiful, healthy little girl named Honor Marie Warren.

As previously reported, Honor Marie Warren arrived on Saturday, June 7th at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, the 27-year-old star’s rep, Brad Cafarelli confirmed.

Although Cafarelli refused to provide further details on the baby’s arrival, early Friday reports suggested that Alba entered Cedars-Sinai in labor, with Cash carrying birthing balls. Jessica’s father was also spotted in the maternity ward and was overheard saying “she’s beautiful,” while Cash was seen bringing in food on Saturday.

In an interview during her pregnancy, the “Fantastic Four” star admitted that she was more scared of breastfeeding rather than the act of giving birth, and revealed that “anything could make me incredibly angry or break down crying.”

Alba and Warren got engaged shortly after announcing their baby news in December last year and quietly tied the knot three weeks ago. The happy couple has also just moved into a $4 million Beverly Hills home, where she has decked out the baby’s nursery with some expensive ornaments, including a chandelier.

Speaking to Fit Pregnancy magazine recently, Alba said she doesn’t want to be her kid’s “best friend,” but would prefer her child seeking her help and advice whenever she would have problems.

With the number of celebrity babies coming into the world these days, magazines are hot to get their hands on the first photos, but the actress recently confessed no magazines have yet made an effort to score her first born’s pictures.

“I haven’t really gotten any - not that I’m aware of. You have to understand, everything that is written is kind of bull,” she said.

Halle Berry and her model partner Gabriel Aubry have become the proud parents of a baby girl.

The actress’ representative confirmed the birth, and announced that the Oscar winner was ‘doing great.’

This is the first baby for both Berry and Aubry. The couple met in November 2005 during a Versace photo shoot, and went public with their relationship three months later. In September last year, Berry confirmed rumours that she was pregnant.

She had said that she was sure she was expecting a girl because Stevie Wonder’s Isn’t She Lovely kept playing on her iPod. ’For some reason, that song keeps coming up on my iPod. We’re like, ‘It’s a girl! It’s a girl!” she had said.

The couple has not revealed their daughter’s name as yet, reports E!Online. But Berry insists that the baby will have her father, Gabriel Aubry’s surname. ’We know the last name will be Aubry.’ she said.
