Britney Spears is the latest celeb to join the likes of Madonna and Angelina Jolie - as she will be adopting Chinese twins.

The troubled star has told her pals that she’s in the final stages of talks with an adoption agency and plans to go ahead with the move very soon.

The pals of the 25-year-old feel that the ‘ Toxic ’ singer has decided to adopt the two six-year-old tots from China in a frantic bid to fill the void left by losing her sons to hubby Kevin Federline.

A source revealed that the singer was splashing 25,000 pounds on her funeral.

“It doesn’t seem that Britney has thought this through completely. Adoption and a funeral? The two don’t exactly go hand-in-hand,” News of the World quoted a source, as saying.

Earlier, this month Federine was given the full custody of his and Britney’s children Sean Preston, two, and one-year-old Jayden James.

Angelina Jolie and Myleene Klass have been voted the world’s ‘yummiest mummies.’

New mum Myleene and Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, who has three adopted and one biological kid, both got 20 per cent of the votes in an online survey carried out by British newspaper The Sun .

Actress Katie Holmes, who has a one-year-old daughter, Suri, with actor Tom Cruise bagged the third slot.

The fourth yummiest mummy was Spice Girl Emma Bunton, who gave birth to a baby boy named Beau Lee Bunton in August this year.

Troubled pop star Britney Sprears got the fifth place with 10 per cent of the votes, while Posh Spice Victoria Beckham came sixth.

Rounding up the list were Demi Moore and Jordan, with four per cent of the votes; former Baywatch star Pamela Andersonwith three per cent, and Geri Halliwell with two per cent of the votes.

Julia Roberts is all set to unveil the photo of her new-born son at the Oprah Winfrey Show. The actress will introduce her 5-month-old son Henry Daniel Moder while appearing on the show with her Charlie Wilson’s War co-star Tom Hanks on November 19. Talking to Winfrey, the Pretty Woman said, “There’s been a lot of curiosity. I thought I would just show everybody.” Roberts also slammed celebrity-obsessed showbiz. “I think it’s just grotesque,” she said, “It’s like a circus side-show. I don’t know why anybody would even want to go into show business these days, with all of the different magazines and shows. It just wouldn’t be worth it.” 

Christina Aguilera has apparently decided not to wait until her water breaks to reveal that no, she hasn’t been shoving a series of ever-larger beach balls under her shirt, and yes, she is in fact knocked up.

When asked by Glamour UK about her New Year’s resolutions, she spilled, “That’ll be about the time I enter into mommyhood, so I’m hoping to have started a beautiful family with my husband!”

The peroxide-coiffed pop queen, whose bulging, frequently on-display belly is all the proof anyone really needed, adds that she’s already making plans to bring home the bacon and fry it up in a pan.

After several weeks of wearing comfy couture, Cate Blanchett has matter-of-factly confirmed she’s expecting her third child with her writer-director hubby, Andrew Upton.

A reporter at Saturday’s Sydney premiere of her film “Elizabeth: The Golden Age,” came right out and asked about the pregnancy rumors, earning a big grin from the luminous Oscar winner, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.

“Yes, I am,” responded the up-front Blanchett, who gives us yet another entry to add to the long list of reasons why we love her.

The Aussie actress, 38, who is already mom to Dashiell, 5, and Roman, 3, pleaded ignorance to rumblings she’s awaiting another boy.

“You know more than me,” she laughed. “It’s early days yet. It’s due in April.”

Cate has made no secret of her desire to expand her brood, revealing in the October issue of W, “We’re not going to wait forever. God, I’d love it to be now. I’d love it to be next week.”
